Also been playing Alan Wake: American Nightmare (kind of a pulp/a noir/a science fiction story rolled into one). Well it would fit being set in a town warped into Night Springs.
As far as I last knew they only published a book based on the Alan Wake game and it deviates sporadically from the game itself at times from my own memories of reading it.
Alan Wake instantly grew on me as a game from the start because it was the first time I actually was drawn to a game where horror played a prominent role though my interests were really tied to the writing, to the characters, and the music....the usual hooks of a replayable experience.
